About the app

What is Tag4Access?

Tag4Access is a mobile app that helps people with disabilities navigate the real world by crowdsourcing accessibility information about physical locations.

Map accessibility issues

Submit tags on real-world locations to flag missing ramps, broken lifts, inaccessible entrances, and more.

Youth leader verification

Every tag is reviewed and verified by trained youth accessibility leaders before it goes live on the map.

Trusted community data

All approved tags are tied to verified accounts, ensuring the map reflects accurate, accountable information.

Privacy by design

We collect only what's necessary to run the app and never sell your personal data to third parties.

How it works

Reporting an accessibility issue

It takes less than a minute to submit a tag. Here's the full process from submission to live map.

1

Create an account

Sign up with your email address. An account is required so submissions are tied to a verified contributor — this keeps the map accurate and trustworthy.

2

Find the location on the map

Navigate to the place with the accessibility issue. Tap the + button and drop a pin on the exact spot.

3

Describe the issue

Select the issue type (e.g. missing ramp, broken lift, no accessible entrance) and optionally add a photo or short description.

4

Youth leader review

A trained youth accessibility leader reviews your submission, verifies the details, and approves or flags it — usually within 48 hours.

5

Tag goes live

Once approved, the tag appears on the map for the entire community to see and benefit from.

Tag4Access is built on accountable, verified community data. Because tags inform real accessibility decisions for people with disabilities, every submission must be linked to a verified contributor. This prevents spam and ensures the map stays accurate and trustworthy.
Sign in, tap the + button on the map, drop a pin on the location with the issue, choose the issue type, and optionally add a photo. Submit and a youth leader will review it within 48 hours.
Most tags are reviewed and approved within 48 hours by our youth accessibility leaders. You'll be notified once your submission is approved or if the reviewer needs more information.
Log in with your youth leader account and navigate to the Pending Reviews tab. You'll see all submitted tags awaiting verification. Tap a tag to view details, approve it, or flag it for follow-up.
Tap any tag on the map, then use the "Report issue" option at the bottom of the tag detail screen. Describe the problem and a youth leader will investigate. You can also email us at tag4access@gmail.com.
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing tag4access@gmail.com. We will process your request promptly.
